The guide integrated into Easy Lig precisely centers the reed in the ligature. Once the assembly is installed on the mouthpiece, this positioning ensures proper lateral alignment of the reed. The clarinetist only needs to adjust the height

The reed held in place

Once the reed is inserted as far as it can go into Easy Lig, it remains securely held in the defined position. The ligature + reed assembly can then be installed on the mouthpiece without having to hold or recenter the reed. Then simply adjust its height and tighten the screw.
